Sweet Release

Holding so tightly to the pains of the day

I exhaust my heart and wound my soul

The pains become greater

as I cling in hopes

that my strength will win out and

there I’ll find rest

When my grip is loosened, oh the

sweet release, it

is here I find peace

here I find strength

here I find rest

When the pains of this day are yielded

to Him who

sweetly releases His grace

In Him I find peace

In Him I find strength

In Him I find rest

In the sweet release of His grace
